Caramel Apple Nachos

Dessert nachos should definitely be a regular thing. If you’re looking for an easier (and super fun) way to enjoy caramel apples, this ones for you!

Ingredients

¾ C Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips, or chocolate of your choice

1 Tbsp. Organic Valley unsalted butter

3 oz. or ½ bag Loblolly vanilla marshmallows

¼ C Caramel sauce, homemade or store-bought

3-4 Organic apples, any variety or mix, sliced

2 Tbsp. Organic lemon juice

¼ C Bulk pecans, or nuts of choice, diced

Preparation

Step 1

In a microwave safe bowl, add your chocolate chips. Microwave for 20 seconds, stir, microwave for 20 more seconds, stir, repeat until chocolate has just melted. Stir in the butter and set aside.

Step 2

Melt the marshmallows in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds, stir, microwave for 20 more seconds, stir, repeat until the marshmallows have melted.

Step 3

Slice apples and toss with lemon juice.

Step 4

Arrange apples on plate or platter.

Step 5

Drizzle with melted chocolate, marshmallow, and caramel.

Step 6

Sprinkle with nuts.

Ingredients

1 stick Organic Valley unsalted butter

1 C Wholesome dark brown sugar, packed

¾ C Organic Valley heavy cream

1 tsp. Frontier Co-Op vanilla

1 tsp. kosher salt

2 Tbsp. Bourbon of choice

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, add your butter, heat over medium heat until melted.

Step 2

Add in brown sugar. Whisk to combine. Cook for 3 minutes, constantly stirring.

Step 3

Add in heavy cream and sweet curry powder, constantly whisking. Whisk for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 4

Add in vanilla, salt, and bourbon. Cool and then place in the fridge.
